Loginator CLI

Generate strong passwords and RFC 6238 TOTP codes in your terminal. Nothing leaves this machine.

Requires Node.js 18 or newer.

The CLI is a local companion — it does not open your vault and never sends passwords or TOTP secrets anywhere.

How to install

    Install from npm

    In a terminal: npm install -g loginator-cli

  2. 2

    Or build from this repo

    From the Loginator repo: cd cli && npm install && npm run build. Then run node dist/index.js.

    Generate a password

    loginator generate

  4. 4

    Read a TOTP code

    echo YOURBASE32SECRET | loginator totp --stdin
