Use the Loginator web app. Extensions appear here only after they are listed on the Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, and other official stores. Zip sideload is not a production install.

Click the download button above. A zip file (Loginator, version, and download date in the filename) will be saved to your Downloads folder.
Find the zip in Downloads and extract it. You'll get a folder named loginator-chrome-extension.
Copy this into your browser's address bar and press Enter:

Look for the Developer mode toggle in the top-right corner of the page and turn it ON.
Three new buttons will appear at the top of the page once Developer mode is on.
After enabling Developer mode, click the Load unpacked button that appears in the top-left area.
A file picker will open. Navigate to where you extracted the zip and select the folder itself — then click Select Folder (or Open on Mac).
Loginator appears in your extensions list. Pin it: click the puzzle-piece 🧩 in your toolbar, then pin Loginator.
No unzip needed — Firefox installs directly from the zip
Click the download button above. A zip file (Loginator, version, and download date in the filename) will be saved to your Downloads folder.
Copy this into Firefox's address bar and press Enter:

On the Add-ons page, click the gear icon (⚙) near the top of the page.
In the dropdown menu, click "Install Add-on From File..."
A file picker will open. Navigate to your Downloads folder and select loginator-firefox-extension.zip. Click Open.
Firefox will show a popup asking if you want to add Loginator. Click "Add".

Loginator is now installed in Firefox. You'll see its icon in the toolbar.
Safari cannot load a zip. Use the web app in this browser today. The Mac app that bundles the Safari extension is not published yet.
When a Mac installer is published, use Get the Mac app above. Until then, use Loginator in this Safari tab. The Safari extension is bundled inside the Mac app — no zip sideload.
In Safari, open Settings (⌘,) and select the Extensions tab. You'll see Loginator listed.
Tick the checkbox next to Loginator, then allow access on the websites where you want autofill. That's it — your vault stays on your device.
Also for Edge, Brave, and Opera
Click the download button above. The zip will save to your Downloads folder.
Unzip the file and replace the contents of your existing Loginator folder (same folder path you loaded the first time).
Important: Do not switch to a new folder like loginator-chrome-extension (1) and do not use Load unpacked for normal updates.

On the extensions page, click Reload (↻) on the Loginator card. If your browser does not show Reload, use the top-row Update button instead.
Do NOT unzip — Firefox installs from the zip file
Click the download button above. The zip will save to your Downloads folder.
Copy this into Firefox's address bar and press Enter:

Click the gear icon (⚙) and choose "Install Add-on From File..."
Navigate to your Downloads folder and select the new loginator-firefox-extension.zip. Firefox will replace the old version with the new one.
